Over the last decade non-thermal non-tumescent (NTNT) methods of truncal reflux elimination in chronic venous disease (CVD) are becoming increasingly popular. The main NTNT modalities mechanochemical ablation and cyanoacrylate adhesive closure (CAC). advantages avoidance tumescent anesthesia, low periprocedural pain bruising, high patient comfort satisfaction rates. CAC method has an additional benefit avoiding postprocedural compression. is one promising procedures, that leads to vein occlusion via endovenous delivery n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate. This review aimed at assessment updated European American clinical practice guidelines on CVD management, particularly role CAC. Current evidence shows efficacy safety CAC, its regarding ecchymoses, risk adverse events, rates long-term, procedure recovery time patients’ quality life. Therefore, along current gold standard varicose treatment – thermal ablation, 2022 have significantly emphasized general particular.
